I used to live with a couple named Jamie and Amanda. Amanda's gorgeous, and Jamie is a fantastic "rootsy" guitarist. You can hear his chord forms all over this song, and you can also hear his glorious Fender Prosonic amp on the inside zero CD. We wrote a few things together during the two or so years we shared a place, always seemingly in different styles. Once we watched "That Thing You Do" together, and immediately wrote a 60's vibe pop thing.
Million Miles was our "Badloves" phase… and while I'll not ever get that earthy and way cool Michael Spiby thing down, this one seems to be a bit of a crowd fave in the set.
