Dom Italiano
Dom Italiano was given his first guitar for his 12th birthday. He wanted a skateboard
but them's the breaks, huh? Now he just wants more guitars!
Dom's main musical influences are Paul Simon, Extreme, Rick Price, Dave Matthews, Skid Row, Tori Amos and Billy Joel. He has lots of DVD's. He has even more CD's. Dom likes Corn Flakes without milk, Caffreys, candles, Trivial Pursuit, Henry Rollins, whisky and Chess Nights, and he still likes most of his ex-girlfriends (as friends)!!
Dom has played in lots of bands and says they have all been experiences to learn from
He would like one day like to find enough financial success to enable him to go back to music school and learn to sight read those little black dots on those little black lines (and become a better singer too)!!!
Dom's favourite things are his family and friends.
Having somehow managed to attain an Advanced Diploma of Music (without sleeping with any teachers
or students
or learning how to read music properly
), Dom will probably become a teacher one day with the hope of introducing "behind the head" guitar playing as part of every Australian high school's music program.

1999 saw Dom Italiano and The Rubber Band release 241 Dead End. The CD brings together 2 recording projects: a six song acoustic demo and a five song demo with a band. Both Steve Virgona
and Richie Jarvis perform on this CD. (available upon request for $10) .
Dom is considering therapy in a desperate attempt to help overcome his fear of eating
vegetables
seriously!!
